Eurofest 2008
May 31st 2008, 10am - 1am
Sounds exciting yes? Here's the catch its the same damn thing every year. Sure, I understand they're trying to represent traditional culture, but the society does that from 10am to 8pm (with the exception of the Aboriginal Canadians this year...)! I still stand by my word in saying its time to ditch the oompapa band and bring out the DJ! Why not show what Europe is really all about these days?
Although it probably is the fact the the medium age of the society is something around 40 years of age, I think its time for an upgrade and time to make those suffering kolo and other traditional dancers a break! Let them have fun at the end of the night and enjoy some real music. It's no wonder everyone's at the bar the entire time, have you heard those funky jams?
Oh well, another year of mingling with the fabulous Cesi! Viva Slaveni!
